Indian Army returns a PoK Boy to the Family with Sweets

The Indian army has returned a kid, residing in Azaad Jammu and Kashmir, to the Pakistan army; A defense official told on Sunday.

The Army handed an 11-years-old boy from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) to the Pakistani Army.

Sameer Kayani, an inhabitant of the area of Laswa of Athmuqam in PoK, had unintentionally crossed the Line of Conrol on Thursday. He was stopped by the troops deployed at the line, who dispatched an urgent message to the Pakistani side, informing them of the boy.

The Army officials told that the message was sent to inform the Pakistan Army about the security of Sameer, as well to request them for a flag meeting to be held where the boy can be united to his family.

“The flag meeting was conducted at the Teetwal Crossing Point and the boy was handed over to representatives of Pakistan Army by the unit based at Tanghdar frontier area,” the officials informed.

The army gifted Kayani a pair of new clothes and even sent sweets for his family across the border.
